A native Texan, born and raised in DallasFt. Worth, I began studying music theory and playing a variety of musical instruments at a young age. My love for the Great Highland Bagpipe began over a decade ago and I have become a very accomplished performer. For wedding ceremonies, I brings my special expertise working with the bride and groom, family, and wedding coordinators to make sure every event is special and catered to your needs.

Lary is a full time competition level performance bagpiper who can travel and perform on short notice. He plays the great highland bagpipe and scottish smallpipes. He will arrive early, properly attired and in tune. Lary will perfom in a variety of highland dress including renaissance to full british military attire.

General Prices: Rates start at $200.00 plus .20mile round trip per event.

Matt Willis Bagpiper

Whether the event is joyous or solemn, the music of the pipes can be a wonderful addition to the day. The volume of the pipes will easily fill the hall or church, and the sound carries beautifully outdoors. Matt would be happy to discuss with you any of the many ways to include the pipes in your ceremony, whether it be for a wedding or a memorial.Matt is also available for private events and parties and would be happy to discuss how to best incorporate the sound of the pipes into your event.

General Prices: Memorials start at $300, weddings start at $350 (depending on length of event and travel costs)

Experience: Matt began playing the pipes in 96, and competed with the Silver Thistle Pipes & Drums in 01 at the World Pipe Band Championships.For twelve years Matt was the piper for The Killdares, and currently plays pipes with RathmoreMatt also serves as the Pipe Major of the Metroplex United Pipe Band. Under his leadership, they have earned 1st place at both the Tulsa ScotFest and the Arkansas Scottish Festival. In 17, he was chosen by the pipemaker R.G. Hardie to be a featured artist.

General Prices: Flat fee of between $250 - $600 per event depending on event destination and travel expenses.

Experience: I have been a bagpiper for over 15 years. I began piping professionally in 2006 while still in high school, as well as competing on solo piping contests around the United States. I also had the privilege of going to Scotland to compete in band contests in both 2011 and I. 2019. I graduated from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas with a degree in both Music and in English. I went to Lyon College on a bagpiping scholarship and was a member of the college pipe band during that time.
